Veneers are indeed a great choice to improve a smile. However, there may be cases where veneers cannot fully restore/correct crooked or uneven teeth and that is where there is good justification for full ceramic crowns.
A treatment with crowns is not an orthodontic treatment, but to some degree it is a solution to teeth that are crooked or have gaps beyond what veneers can correct.
